Studying Si-Ge nanowire quantum dots and FinFETs with pendulum Atomic Force Microscopy. It is sensitive to small dissipation forces in order of aN. Charges and spin state transitions in Si-Ge NWs can be probed with the oscillating tip. Therefore, we aim to measure energy dissipation and charge noise in Quantum dots. This nanoscale energy dissipation is important in solid-state systems and impacts on the qubits lifetime, a vital part of Quantum Computer.
